Notice is hereby given that the third quarter 2009 results, prepared in accordance with US GAAP principles, along with a chart of reconciliation with IAS/IFRS principles, as approved by the board of directors on October 29, 2009 have been made available at the Company's registered office and at Borsa Italiana S.p.A. and may be viewed on the Company's website www.luxottica.com.

The company will also file the Italian translation of the Form 6K related to the third quarter 2009 results when the same will be filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
